One of our most magical moments was swimming with playful sea lions — they darted around us, coming right up to our masks with fearless curiosity, making the experience truly unforgettable.

On the mainland, the Andes mountains rise dramatically, dotted with charming colonial cities, traditional highland villages, and colourful markets, offering a glimpse into Ecuador’s rich culture. Further east, the Amazon rainforest reveals dense jungle, winding rivers, and extraordinary biodiversity, completing the country’s mix of landscapes and adventure.
