Nepal Travel: Kathmandu, Himalayan Treks & Cultural Adventures

Nepal is a destination that captures the heart of every traveller, where vibrant culture meets some of the world’s most dramatic mountain landscapes. Kathmandu, with its bustling streets, ancient temples, and lively markets, is the perfect introduction to Nepali life and heritage. For trekking enthusiasts, the Himalayas are the main draw — from the iconic Everest Base Camp to the Annapurna Circuit, with Pokhara as the gateway city. On my Everest trek, I added Gokyo Ri for some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen, and taking extra days to acclimatise made all the difference in enjoying the high-altitude landscapes safely.

Beyond trekking, wildlife safaris in Chitwan National Park let you encounter rhinos, elephants, and other rare animals in their natural habitat. Nepali cuisine, from momo dumplings to dal bhat, is a delight at every stop, giving travellers a taste of the country’s rich flavours. With ancient cities, epic treks, wildlife encounters, and vibrant culture, Nepal offers unforgettable experiences for every kind of adventurer.
